WE ARE ONE COLOUR FESTIVAL JOHANNESBURG ANNOUNCES FULL LINE-UP
The Johannesburg WE ARE ONE Colour Festival has become the most anticipated event on the country’s social calendar this year. After the success of the sold out Cape Town event in March, the WE ARE ONE Colour Festival has already become a milestone event in South Africa and has created a massive following countrywide. The demand for tickets to the colourful event has been astronomical with tickets selling out more than a month before the event. Afurther 3000 tickets were released to the public, which sold out in less than an hour, proving that Gauteng cannot wait for the bright and vibrant WE ARE ONE Colour Festival to embrace Emmarentia Dam on the 6th of April 2013.
A full line-up of the country’s best and most exciting DJ’s will spin the decks as everyone celebrates love, happiness and the everyday colour of life. The sold out crowd will enjoy the beats and ethnic sounds of Sadhu Sensi alongside DJ Mighty who brings his mix of funk, jazz and house to the festival. Jozi’s very own ‘King of Swing’, Michael Lesar will grace the decks bringing another spectacular fashion of EDM to the dance floor. Influenced by a range of Afro beats and world beats from far-off lands, DJ Babganoush is another highlight on the impressive line-up. Beat masher and lover of good times, Toby2Shoes is adding his own colour to the festival while the award-winning and chart –topping Good Luck are also bringing their jazzy beats and hit songs to the powder spectacle. Adding a twist of modern dance music, Richard The Third hits the decks as well asKid Fonque generating the funky side of life to the colourful clouds. The sold out audience will also enjoy the high voltage electro beats of DJ Danger Ingozi concluding one of S.A.’s freshest line-ups.
Festival goers and those lucky enough to have tickets are encouraged to wear white, which creates the vibrant and exhilarating effect we’ve all seen in footage and photos taken at the Cape Town event. Powder will be sold separately at the event for R20 per 100g bag (5 different colours available).
Doors open at 12:00 and the event is scheduled to finish at 20:00. We highly recommend arriving early to get your party spot.
